You know, part of the decisioning our forefather’s made TO rapidly industrialize was based in the belief that once these vital systems of our civilization were strengthened and automated, the children could grow up doing more for less to save precious time with their families—doing things they wanted to do, rather than what they HAD to do.
How many of you feel, living in the US system, that you MUST spend 50+% of your waking hours dedicated to work and nothing else? That is, basically, what a machine does. Now, human beings are a lot like machines, in that we have parts, systems, networks, and *program-ability*, but I think still, we’re more than that. Our ability to create, express, and *see* things sets us apart.
We will *always* have things we *must* do, but HOW we do those things and WHY are questions to ask frequently, because we can probably find ways to do it better.
