Here we go again, as soon as someone is leader in the industry they start fear mongering in hopes of regulatory capture, OpenAI was doing this 1-2 years ago because they were leading. A difference between now and back then is that we have the chinese models that are neck and neck with American models so we as an industry this is a terrible thing to push for.
