It’s definitely a stretch to say they look alike but honestly the movements on the face are really stiff in the first AI video. She kinda looks like a puppet. The monster movie is a lot more obviously AI because when AI is unsure of how something should look it just makes it blurry. It has a fuzzy effect but I’ve never seen a Pixar movie that takes that stylistic route of making individual hairs and lines look like smears and swirls. I’m not big on AI but I feel like it’s getting kinda tired out as a trend like NFTs. It’s got a long way to go before it passes for professional work made by humans because we were used to scrutinizing everything and picking up very fine details even before AI was a thing.
