The reference point is so real. The annoying thing is Google will not allow us to turn off ai images in the search even if you swear at it or put -AI in ur search. I was looking at release art for lighting reference cause she is an absolute master of great lighting but several AI generators scrape her content and regurgitate things that may look similar but are absolutely terrible refs. Lighting comes from all the directions and the shapes are all slightly wonky, you CAN tell. Also for those who make the argument about accessibility its inadvertently the most ableist thing they can say. I'm disabled. Mentally and physically. I have been drawing as a hobby since I was 13 and 3d modeling since 18. We can draw. Many disabled people do. Saying we need to rely on ai implies we are incapable of making art, we aren't. Even people with afantasia (where you cant see images in your minds eye) can make art. People missing limbs have special prosthesis made so they can make art, some even learn to draw with their teeth or toes. All so they may continue with their passion. Musicians who have gone deaf have learned to feel music through the vibrations. The beauty of humanity is our ability to create and adapt when we are passionate about something. So pls stop trying to say because we aren't atypical we aren't capable. We are! You are! Put down the keyboard and pick up a pen, a guitar, a brush, some clay. Give art some time and some soul. You can do it, even if you don't think you can at first.
