A couple years ago I supported ai "art" and didn't understand why it was an issue. But then I educated myself by doing my own research. Now I am anti-ai "art". And while instant gratification may entice people, it's not as good as the gratification you get from making your own art once you learn to draw. Even before I was somewhat good at drawing, I had much more fun and was happier than the few times I tried ai. And there's also a certain human-made aspect to real art that makes it more respectable and admirable to people who care about the artists on even just a minor level. Even just the time put into it makes it more valuable, and the effort even more so. Nowadays I try to make my own art before anything else, and if worst comes to worst, I just make a quick skedoodle (that's a word I made up for a scribble doodle. It's a small art with no effort meant to get an idea down. Then I can make the full thing when I have motivation. It's meant to be imperfect so you don't focus too much. I find it also helps me in the long run to be more motivated to draw. Try a skedoodle every time you have an idea but no motivation)
