The problem is, there’s now no natural limit on how many “influencers” can have this negative impact. There is a natural, random limit on how many real people can achieve this level of influence. AI doesn’t have any real limits. You can scale AI forever until you run out of electricity or money and these companies can afford a lot of electricity.
