I have chronic hand pain from tearing a muscle. When I want to draw I just chug pain meds. I have a lot of different neurodivergent diagnoses such as autism, bpd, adhd, ocd, and schizophrenia (probably forgot a few) that give me problems maintaining one train of thought while I’m making art which leads a lot of people to say my art looks like early ai which really hurts since I often use my art to vent my struggles. I do use ai though, not in replacement of my effort but as a bounce board for my ideas, as a way to quickly conceptualize and mash together the ten million thoughts in my head, but surprisingly I don’t use the image generate feature while doing this and it’s rare that I ever do.
