flaw with niel's argument about continuously out innovating ai. Well here's the thing.. the chances that an idea you come up with is completely original and not already on the internet on a planet of 7 billion is overall LOW.. But Ai can't present it with nuance, but nobody is going to care about THAT.. they're just going to keep recycling slop cause they don't like to use their brains. That's exactly the problem with cocomelon, with Youtube shorts and TikTok.. people don't want quality anymore, they just want slop to keep stimulating their brains until they're addicted to slop itself. You say ai is fine but we just have bad actors. Sir.. humanity itself is one GIANT bad actor, that is the essence OF humanity itself. War, Greed, power.. that is the fundamental human experience. The good will never outweigh the bad.. at best, it will alwyas be sort of half and half, fluctuating in varying areas now and then. For God's sake.. have you seen what the american government voted IN... even after experiencing them once for 4 years already!? Nuclear power being discovered and then being used to make nuclear weapons.. was an inevibility. Man will always find ways to weaponize something if they think there's even a remote possibility of it.. the amount of experiments the CIA performed to see if one ridiculous thing after another could be used to control or beat people.. is astounding.. hell there was even an experiment to make a hormone bomb that forced enemy combatants into becoming too overwhelmingly horny to fight... IM NOT JOKING. Humans will weaponize EVERYTHING.. it just comes down to how easily you want your innovation to be weaponized by them.
