I was told 10 years ago that school had set us up to fail, since we used laptops for everything from ages 12/13 to 17/18 when taking the year 12 exams.
We were told ‘we have had many years fail the final exams because they didn’t remember how to write. Due to years of laptop use.’ My year was the first in the state (country) to use laptop as a mandatory tool. (Let me tell you that giving a laptop to 13 year old boys without blocking sites is a bum idea)
Now my nibbling’s are telling me that they don’t even read any books in English it all copy and paste from the white board. Or that they will just give you the answers in maths.
Schools are just getting worse.
