AI is a tool.
All those who hate AI without being artists themselves often see it as "soulless". Yes it is soulless... like any tool. The soul comes from the person using the tool. Therefore thinking AI made content is problematic in and of itself is kind of missing the point... of art.
You open your argument with something good done with AI, only to then dismiss it because of that. That's cruel. You will throw away the writing process, because of an AI presentation ? To those that can harness their own creativity thanks to AI, you will say that their creativity don't matter because they... didn't express it well enough ? Do you even know how "AI art" is made ? Do you think it is as easy as "pressing a button" ?
For a time, digital painting wasn't considered art either, because the tools made drawing that much easier.
And here we are now...
The funniest part is, most actual artists I talked about were mainly concerned about the consequence to their work, but most didn't really feel so much strong feelings about the AI art itself.
