The reason you get different responses from chatGPT 'on different days' is because all Large Language Models are simply rolling the dice and generating each next "token" based on a probabilistic algorithm.
That's all a Large Language Model is.
Underneath it all, it is simply predicting the next most probable word or "token" that should follow all the previous words it was given as the prompt (and in a chat, each prompt and response is encapsulated and becomes part of each new subsequent prompt, making it appear to be contiguous and fluid).
You can literally re-run each prompt dozens of times and you will never get the same response twice (absent some sort of caching by whoever you might be getting free access to an LLM from.)
