The statistics are unequivocal about self driving cars including Tesla and human drivers, and self driving is significantly safer. Neither system is flawless and I am in no way saying Tesla or Musk is blameless but to claim that self driving systems are worse than human drivers is simply not true. Humans are incredibly bad at driving and the sooner we can move away from human driven vehicles the better, in terms of total harm done to humans.
