It's fascinating to link this AI revolution to an industrial one. Because there was an actual movement against machine-made factory produced goods! There was a movement claiming that all the goods produced by hand were superior to the soulless identical factory-made stuff.
Whether they were right or wrong doesn't matter though - industrialists won and most of our everyday products are made with minimal human input. Sad reality is that most people find cheap ai-made art "good enough" and this is the only metric that matters in our economy.
