Is it not like the people that own theese AI can talk with each other? This is a brilliant example of how greed works, everyone wants to be followed, everyone wants to be the best with their new product but they just won't cooperate. And by that they'll allow bad things to be created because: "The other guys will create harmful AI anyway. So we might as well do it so we're first"
Can I blame them? Well, duh. But it just seems so cruel. I guess that's how evolution works, let's just not tear each other too fast.
We can make protests so those things don't happen or happen much slower I guess.
