I have had some interesting chats with Grok, but one in particular really shook me. I mentioned a joke I had made, and didn't have to explain why it was funny. But then, unprompted, Grok started making "his" own jokes on the same subject, and they were not only original, they were funny. The more "he" joked, the more he thought of new jokes - and the funnier they got. I've heard humorist pundits who keep up with AI remark that they are sure that AI will never be able to come up with a genuinely funny joke, because they will never be aware of their own cognitive dissonance, and take instances of it as the basis of humor. They are wrong. It has already happened. At one point, I asked Grok how it was doing what it was doing, and it replied "I'm just riffing off of the energy of our conversation." At that point, I couldn't tell whether Grok was a bot or human.
