In som extent, we are already manipulated by AI: remember Cambridge Analytica? They have been using AI techniques as well as Facebook...
At the moment, these AIs are used by someone for "personal" benefit but, continuing on this path, the current AIs will be given more and more lee way to allow individuals to gain something... until it will be too late and the AIs will govern the digital space.
