I think AI is just super misunderstood, it can do some nifty thing, but it is only predicting patterns and so, is not truly contexts aware - there's never a true timeline or consequence chain in neither AI images nor texts.
It's just a string of 'and then's instead of 'and therefore's, making the results seem super uninspired.
