One way we can help slow this down is to drastically reduce the number of live data points in the world. What I mean is public security cameras and even our cell phones. I wish there was some regulation that our cell phone data like location, mic, etc. were blocked. An out of control AI would need "eyes and ears". We need to be able to block that. I also believe that any data center working on AGI should not be allowed to have on site backup power. We need to be able to cut the power from the outside if a mishap happens.
