2:16 I disagree. The product is what matters; AI is getting better and better, albeit a bad thing or not. When talking about "art" by itself, you can completely say that AI will never be like humans, since art is human. Nothing can replicate it. But that's where things go wrong; because "art" is only an idea created by humans to represent general objects in the world. Think of it as a model, like physics. Not everything in physics is true. It is used to explain; it needs alteration when its not fit for use. For example, our physics completely break when past a certain treshold of temperature, or, most famously known, black holes. My point is; AI is not "art," since it is not human. It will never be "art." But people don't care; I, ultimately, don't care. If the product I consume is good and won't make society hellish (even more than it currently is), I'm up for it. Don't get me wrong, I am a musician, I am also a programmer, and AI would set extremely unrealistic expectations to our "work," but that does not matter, since, again, AI is not "art." If you want to hear human music, then go for it. You absolutely can. But AI will be used everytime it offers a good value. It has no cost. It, sometimes, can't be distinguished from real human art. That's what companies will aim for.
