most of what you said vis-a-vis the job market applies to software development as well. we're also told we'll only be left behind if we don't start using AI.
but if a vibe coder can do the work of 10 traditional devs in a fraction of the time, and anyone can become a vibe coder, logically companies will replace their well-paid devs with much fewer and worse-paid vibe coders. and it's folly to think vibe-anything jobs are more than a temporary measure before true automation. so even if you leverage AI you'll still be left behind
