the effort is on the speed and outcome, is not on the consumption of documents (which is what chatGPT does). The critical thinking comes from asking the right query and use it for acheiving a clear outcome. Obviously if the only use of chatGPT or other is to seek an answer then it works as a basic calculator, which does not help. But if you use a calculator or excel sheet to calculate and account for a 1 Million Dollar company, you realize the effort of the human is on the bigger picture, not on the mere math calculation.
