If anyone is feeling discouraged by AI, remember: Creativity behind your art, music, and stories is way more important. If you need any proof, just think: What compliments can you give to your favorite character in all fiction? I'll go first with Shadow the Hedgehog: I love Shadow because of his character arc, personality, backstory, and because he's inspired ne so much. Now imagine if your favorite character had nothing but their design. No backstory or lore, just the design. Yes, the design is cool, but if Shadow was just a design, even if it's a great design, then there's only one compliment you can give him. This applies to AI art. Sure, it looks pretty, but that's the only compliment you can give it. One good thing. Now with real art, you can praise the story behind it, the tiny details, the reason it was made, the effort it took, the hidden comedy, the hidden tragedy, the backstory of the world or creature or character, and so much more than just how it looks. So don't worry about if you are better than Ai: You ARE. Look at me. I draw silly made up animals with paper and pencils. And you know what makes that special? There's an entire ecosystem on these worlds i make. When i make a creature, on the back of the paper, I write out where it lives, how it behaves, what it eats, etc. I plan to make a book about them one day. And this is way better than Ai, because it can't make original art like we can. You guys are WAY better than any Ai at all. Art isn't about looks, it's about the creativity behind it. The difference between inspiration and Ai theft is that even if you are inspired you can still be creative and still need to put in effort. Ai can't. I hope this helps someone ❤
