Another point I’d like to address regarding the use of AI is when YouTubers try to follow MrBeast’s path by adding voice-over translations to their content in hopes of breaking language barriers and reaching non-native English speakers. Voice-overs already tend to feel forced and unnatural, but now many creators are using AI to dub their videos into different languages instead of hiring voice actors. As a non-native English speaker, nothing makes me click off a video faster than a soulless AI voice that doesn’t match what I’m watching. It feels artificial and disconnected. It also feels a bit insulting to the effort I’ve put in, considering I’ve spent 22 years learning English to reach this level.
