Key overlooked fact: companies cannot generate revenue if the average consumer doesn’t have money. The AI takeover will either stop from drops in revenue from consumers with no disposable income, or will be toppled by common sense government regulation, as has happened throughout history time and time again.
It can be worrying to imagine this situation but this is assuming the general public wouldn’t rise up, companies perpetually make more and more money, and the government isnt controlled somewhat by peoples votes.
