Really AI is so bad right now... its downright impossible to even search for a reference image of something anymore without it popping up entirely AI, even trying to describe a character on google so that I can remember their name or what they are from is near impossible now because it just pops up with AI "art". And definitely all the misinformation stuff, ive seen so many images that are just..obviously AI animals and all the comments are just like 'so cute!' 'i didnt know this animal looked like this as a baby!!' etc etc. Even images where its clearly a dog with 5 legs or something will still get so many comments thinking its real, its mindboggling. And its not just images either, I saw a video recently where a woman was trying to explain to her parents that the Trump propaganda video they were w atching of "Baron sings about his father" (or something to that effect) wasnt real, and her parents just kept saying 'but heres the video right here. thats his face!' while the daughter is trying to explain that its a robot. On the opposite end of the spectrum to people not thinking things are AI is now its gotten to the point where people just think EVERYTHING is AI. Ive seen the most mundane everyday pictures and the comments are all just "AI" and Ive even seen artists who have to come forward and say their art isnt AI..one I saw was even for a piece they drew around 5 years ago..we didnt even have AI "art" then!! Though one of the funniest things (sad too though) Ive seen about AI is how its become so prevalent that AI is actually starting to scrape AI to train itself, causing worse and worse results in a weird cycle. Like, its sad that AI is so common now that this happens and that its doing this because its running out of stuff it hasnt already scraped...but its pretty funny that its destroying itself in the process
