This is what people vote for. Why would Texas allow these knowing full well the very people that drive the truck are their supporters. The answer is they don’t answer to the voters. They answer to big/special interest that stuff their pockets with loads of cash. And those very politicians know they can distract you with their lies to get you to vote for them while they’re shafting you. Fact is the majority of truck drivers voted for Trump and in the case of Texas voted for Republicans. How come none of the truck drivers are out protesting these things in front of the governors mansion or the state house. It’s because peoples pride gets in the way. No one wants to admit they were wrong and made a mistake. They don’t wanna be alienated from the cult. I’m sorry but as a Teamster I have to put the blame on drivers for this the same way I blame those who stand to lose their jobs to automation. This is what you voted for. People can say it’s Biden’s fault all they want. He’s not the governor of these states that allow driverless trucks. Look it up. Every state that allows driverless trucks are all ran by Republicans. Not one Democrat ran state. And yet Republicans tell you they are for the people. Now there’s talk of automation. That wasn’t happening under Biden. Ain’t it crazy that most people voted for Trump to own the libs and they’re the ones that got owned in the end. And I’m tired of hearing “I didn’t see this coming”. That’s BS because the same people you’re trying to own has been telling you for the last decade. The hate is blinding people from seeing reality. It’s sad because I love my Teamster brothers and sisters. My mother always told me a hard head makes a soft ass.
