Setting aside the fact that Elon constantly lies & spins nonsense tales inspired by his misunderstanding of Fantasy & SciFi, there's still the glaring issue that Elon's vision of a, "charitable," vision of the future relies on EXTREMELY smaller population levels worldwide. When a pro-eugenics oligarch tells you that all jobs will be eliminated & there'll be a universal high income, the correct response - at a minimum - is to immediately mock him & let everyone know he's a NAZI. Rogan is such a sycophant that he asks the most charitable follow-up, "So poverty will essentially be eliminated," when there are dozens of more pertinent & probing questions any one of us could think of when presented with Elon's steaming pile of horse puckey. Robotics & AI are nowhere near full replacement of all jobs. The real dirty secret of whose jobs can & will be eliminated in the near-term is that it's the middle class; jobs that require college degrees, jobs that require primarily desk work, any sort of managerial work, etc. Robots won't be wiping the ass of Elon's decrepit, old racist parents - poor people will. Their goal is a small aristocracy of technocrats + a large pool of untermenschen from which the aristocrats can choose their sex toys, brood mares & labourers. The existence of a middle-class is anathema to people like Musk - they believe that 99% of humans are their inferiors & social mobility is offensive to the natural order. More broadly, oligarchs loathe the idea of a pool of educated, informed citizens who can wield political power. TL;DR Our current crop of arrogant tech oligarchs are white supremacists, so they envision ruling over a tightly managed & controlled society in which the majority of white folks are poor & ignorant, while the majority of PoC no longer exist.
