Fantastic summary of AI history and concepts! AI does not need to achieve "AGI" to be an excellent value proposition. That value proposition will be incredibly disruptive within the next 1 - 2 years. The most dangerous thing about AI is not "Terminator" style consciousness, but simply that it can be extremely useful and productive without consciousness.
