Okay, but that makes two horrible assumptions. 1) That the people paying for your labor and creativity want truly novel things and won't just be satisfied with a rehash of what already exists. 2) That AI can't immediately consume, learn, and integrate into its model your new thing before you can make a living with it.
Also, philosophers have been arguing for millennia that there is nothing new under the sun. That all stories are just permutations of a few handfuls of templates of stories.
