I think it will always be limited, just as its human creators are limited. It cannot know things without data and there are so many things there is very little data for. Take chinchillas for example: data on the internet is incorrect and incomplete. Full DNA sequencing has NEVER been done. We need a nuclear spectrometer and a team dedicated to analysing the diet month by month for about five years to get the data we need to establish the optimal diet. Current thinking has no idea how backwards it is. I can have this conversation with a few advanced vets but not many people. We need a millionaire or billionaire to back a research project but as there's no money in chinchillas, that won't happen. Our little mogwais are critically endangered and AI cannot make that better- IT CAN'T.
