Gotta be aware of your environment. AI can be stupid and so can be people. Unless that Tesla came in at some ridiculous speed differential (I believe autopilot is limited to 90mph), a biker aware of its surroundings should be able to evade. I’m by no means trying to blame the victim, but rather stress out the importance of defensive driving to saving your own bacon.
My first driving instructor insisted that I look left and right even when crossing on a green light, or generally when I had the right of way. He said: “graveyards are full of people who had the right of way”.
