It isn't only the drama or tension. It is the style and handling of the brushwork, the particular palette, perspective, contrast and utilization of light, line, etc. These are the elements of art in the paintings by human artists that create an emotive aspect that are completely lost in the AI renditions. I have studied and taught all aspects of painting, and the AI cannot compare on many levels. I can see that right away. Even the strategic impasto is lost with AI. The AI painting looks nothing at all like anything the real van Gogh would create!
