Always love this channel. For this topic if you’d like a more nuanced and deeper dive I Really recommend checking out interviews by Tom Bilyue and Lex Friedman with some of their expert Ai guests.
It definitely opened my eyes more to the intricacies of what an Ai filled future looks like. As much as I love Why Files, I honestly and respectfully felt this episode leaned too heavily towards a dystopian society, whereas the physical infrastructure of Ai actually being able to take over full control is just not there yet. We still need humans to do a lot of the actual moving/buying/sourcing of widgets. But there are other more complex questions at play, existential ones that other interviewers covers. This topic is quite complex and exploring other outcomes may actually help us create a better future for our loved ones. Maybe by exploration we can also understand ourselves better, resulting in more compassion and love overall. :)
