The biggest problem with AI art right now is the method of acquiring information. If AI art generators are scanning through the internet and adding information to the algorithm, indiscriminately, then no matter what the result is, it simply shouldn’t be commercialized. Nobody should have their pictures (whatever they are about) feeding an art generating algorithm without proper compensation (and there’s even more depth to that).
The only way AI art can be ethical is if Artists opt in into feeding whatever art generating algorithm.
