Look, if 60% are living paycheck-to-paycheck, this high number of people must be important for consumption. If you have a fully automated factory, an no one that can consume the stuff you produce - you will not have a profitable factory and this will affect your stock prices negatively and your wealth will suffer. I don't believe this is what the multibillionaires want. We just need to make sure, that our democracies persist and that separation of power is always warranted. Like this there will be no way the billionaires will kill us all and take over.
Being a work slave for richt people is not an important part of being a human. Yes, doing something that is purposful to you and for the world is important. But smart people will always find things that could be done...even just for the sake of it. I'm full of ideas what I would rather do with my time, than slaving away for people that exploit me because they are richer than me and have the capital.
