I'm sorry but some humans are programmed incorrectly and the error of margin in "programing" for humans is much greater than that of machines.
And there are already A.I. weapons which are taking over for land mines. But the up side there is that smart mines will always be better than dumb mines that will go off no matter what.
But again the error margin for these mines for hitting stuff that isn't tanks etc etc is extremely low actually I haven't heard of a case of it.
