I assume, once the tipping point for AI and robotics is reached, there will be a short burst of insane profits, for the Oligarchs. And then it will completely collapse.
No state could finance all those unemployment checks, so they'll turn down benefits and payments in their death throws.
The unemployed masses have no work, no income anymore. So who's going to buy all those robo-manufactured cars, phones and burgers?
I have no clue, what form it will take, but there will be a total and utter collapse at the end.
I can only hope, the misery, violence, death and terror will, ultimately, also reach those billionaire bastards in their bunkers and gated compounds.
