I don't want to get her argument against self-driving if she says "Cars need to be trained on that area to work well." Let's say that's totally true, which I believe is partially true. Eventually AI will be trained on every road in the world where there are electric cars so it will be able to drive in most places around the world. It's not really an issue even if it is a limitation that it needs to be trained on that specific area. Therefore full self-driving globally is a possible outcome.
