I wouldn't even pay an AI artist, because I'm already tired of looking at AI arts that are all the same. Often these so called ai artists don't even check their work and just flood the internet with the random outcome of their prompt. They say AI will replace programmers like me as well, but I don't feel like it can do a better job than humans. Sure it can put code together, but it's just not going to hold on the large scale. When I try to check something with AI, I'm probably just looking for ideas - not taking anything for granted, but it can give me a starting point. The rest is really up to me.
