Is AI justifiably usable as much as their companies parroting them claim they are? Heavens no. However, I've personally used AI to help me get a job within two weeks(!) only two months ago-but only because HR departments around the world use AI to can Resumes/Applications by the boatload. AI allowed me to tailor everything against those bots and discover blind spots in my approach to each company. I believe that this is a limited case use for AI in places like LinkedIn. On the other side, twitch streamers like DougDoug use AI to assist in fueling the absurdity of their streams, but that's only a prompt output that-in the end-humans follow for content. Is AI useful in limited case scenarios such as above? Absolutely. Is AI going to come up with the Return on Investment (RoI) that investors are hoping for? I'm beginning to doubt it, considering how much widespread, general use is foundering outside small use cases. Especially considering these reports confirming the lack of RoI.
