What is disturbing to me is the younger generations think AI is mandatory to get through life. I was on another comments section where older people were talking about turning the AI off on their phones (which I have done) and the young people were calling US stupid and uneducated because: "How are you gonna use a phone without AI? How are you gonna edit pictures/videos? How are you gonna chat with people and know what to say? Who is goona do your homework for you? Who is gonna tell you if your words are misspelled? Who is gonna give you information on how you sleep and live? Who will protect you? Who is going to correct you if you are wrong? Who will have your back and be your friend when you have no one? Who will tell you if you are dressed properly and looking good? Who will monitor your health? Who will plan your vacations?" This person also said it was "insane to delete AI from your life because that is like deleting a friend who will do everything for you so you do not have to. If you want a phone without AI you are gonna have to go back to the 70s and get a flip phone." 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦 And I am the uneducated, stupid one because I do not need AI for any of those things? I then asked if she was AI. 😂 But it was alarming because she was not the only one. There were tons of young people in that thread echoing the exact same things and considering people who do not take advantage of AI as dumb and uneducated. What the...? 🧐
