When the question arose as to AI wiping us humans out, Geoffrey Hinton, put it at a 20% possibility! I think we humans may be safe as we have both good and evil built into our beings whereas, I understand, AI only have 'neutrality' built in unless we humans direct otherwise, cyber attacks etc.
