I have a basic understanding of Ai and machine learning. Is the issue that it's dangerous because it's a brain or the idea that we really don't know how a brain works? It's bad enough that we are creating idiot savants trained with garbage input. I had a computer science professor almost 40 years ago say programmers would not be needed by 1995. I agree about military usage threats. Help service usage of Ai is still garbage in my experience. I'm confused by the gaps between the ability and reality that have persisted since the 90s.
