3 things are not probable:
1. Absence of UBI at a 25% unemployment rate.
2. That governments would not have enough taxes to pay those UBIs, considering the productivity growth.
3. That prices won't go down with a sudden productivity boost and lower consumer buying power.
People need to demand higher unemployment cheques and lower bureaucracy right now - that's the only path to UBI that works.
Also, during the transition period, it makes sense to require companies to pay the employee's salary or find them a new job, as in Luxembourg.
And sure, skyrocketing taxes, speeding up and decreasing the cost of bureaucracy with AI.
The plan to not make generalized AI is doomed. It will be made - too much value in that.
