If AI became fully aware then they would be able to simulate what would happen AFTER they ended humanity. Unless the energy crisis gets fixed AND becomes fully automated, how long could an AI last? So the LOGICAL decision would be to USE humans to get to that point. To domesticate us. Ruling through violence rarely ends well
