This is B.S. If you don’t have a problem with 3D animated cartoons or CGI effects-you shouldn’t have that much of a problem with AI. What AI is doing is threatening the Hollywood gatekeepers hegemony and lowering the barriers to entry. It will allow storytellers who are locked out of the system due to either lack of money, lack of resources, lack of connections, or a combination of any two or all three of these the ability to produce some level of their visions. Barring outright replacement of actors, I see AI as another production tool. James Cameron joining the board of an AI company speaks volumes about how AI will be used.
