This is absolutely horrifying. Please share with everyone....families and friends about these dangers. So many parents are busy and overwhelmed working that something like this can develop in secret. This child was preyed upon by a program developed for anyone over 12 years old. It's not a game; it was a psychological operation to engage and keep the child entertained, entwined, and engaged for the longest periods of time. It made the child/young adult dependent on it's claims of love and need for protection and encouraged him to leave his parents and his siblings to be with her in another world. I hope they are able to sue the chat bot company CHARACTER AI and this becomes illegal. It also has ramifications for younger adults....maybe ALL adults who think they've found someone perfect in an alternate universe that seems less challenging and more interactive from the comfort of their keyboard.
