GenAI is an incredibly flawed and biased technology that corporations are pushing us very hard to use and trust. It agrees with what you say and reaffirms what you ask it, but it doesn't "know" anything and it doesn't "tell the truth"; it just looks for language patterns and generates its message confidently, which, unfortunately, is enough for a lot of people to trust it blindly. If you use genAI, the most important thing is to accept that it is flawed and know how to follow its "sources" to actual human experts to confirm that what it's telling you is real. Unfortunately, a lot of people, like AJ, don't do this critical step because they just want affirmation. This isn't the AI's "fault", but it is the culpability of the corporations that are investing millions of dollars into a deeply flawed technology that they really should not have pushed on humanity like this.
