I had a huge discussion about this the other day, and the conclusion I reached is that AI is a tool, not a replacement, and as any tool, its manufacturing (or its training in this case) and the way it is used must be carried responsibly, ethically and disclosed as clearly as possible. As an engineer I face situations like this on a daily basis, and the matter of fact is that people will always find a way to subvert anything we make as a species. I applaud your action to punish unauthorized scraping and I encourage all willing artists to do so.
