Frenchman here. 900 workers were required for a Renault assembly line. For the past 20 years, it has been reduced to half a dozen. All the rest is done by robots. Manufacturing doesn't create that many jobs. And now, desk jobs are going to be taken over by AI. Soon, it will be an AI answering phone calls for customer service. Even taking over legal advice. The only jobs that are safe are those that require human emotional responses and contact. But if people can not earn money, who is going to buy the stuff which is produced in those automated factories? The whole system collapses.
